Jed or Clampet is his nick name to us, has retired from the show ring at the ripe old age of 6 years old. He retired on 78 points (if he achieved 100 points he would have got his tittle of Champion).  It is through no fault of his own, I have decided to retire him as he unfortunately broke his top canine.  But not to worry, his daughter Ziggy and his granddaughter Holley will continue with their show careers. I would like to thank  Jody who has showed Jed right from the beginning and did a great job I must say, he never did like the show ring that much, he loved the ride there and the ride home but still it was a great experience for him and also me, of course at the same time we do enjoy the social side of dog showing very much.  So, to those friends (you know who you are) who supported me and Jed, I say a big thank you (It is a very competitive sport for some people!) for getting us over those obstacles, you give me lighthearted fun and laughter and seem to make it all worth it.
